Christmas Card and Gift Guidelines

Hey Pandas,

As you may already know from our in-game calendar, on December 11 we will launch a special feature for the holiday season that lets you send a Christmas card and a gift to your Panda friends, or even make a stranger smile! A similar feature has been a popular community suggestion, and now we are making it possible for Christmas.

You will be able to send Christmas cards and gifts (clothes, furniture and certain companions) from December 11 until December 18. You can find the feature by clicking on a Panda’s playercard and then clicking on the mail icon, which will finally be active for once.

You will then be prompted with the special Christmas Card and Gifts dialog, where you will briefly see the guidelines for sending one.

• You can send a card and a gift to multiple Pandas, but you can only send one card and one gift to each Panda.

• Sending an item or coin gift is optional. You can choose to send only a Christmas card with greetings to a Panda. However, if you send only a card, you won’t be able to send a gift to that same Panda later.

• You can only gift a single item or coins. The amount of coins you are able to gift should be at least 10,000 and no more than 30,000 coins.

• The item types you are able to gift are clothes, furniture, and the following companions - horses, ponies and sleds.

• You are NOT allowed to gift level-locked items, beta items, contest prize items, Dragon and Reindeer companions, or VIP items if the Panda is not VIP.

• It is recommended to list up to 3 items. This helps ensure that the Panda you are gifting does not already have the item you want to give. If you list only one item and the player already owns it, our Panda Elves will try to contact you by email. If they are unable to reach you, the player will receive a coin gift instead. If you list multiple items, our Panda Elves will choose the best one for the player.

• Ensure that you keep your listed gift or gifts, or the amount of coins you want to send, until December 18. During the period of sending cards, they will be removed from your account.

• The Christmas Card should be in English only and must not contain inappropriate words or bad language. If it does, the player will receive a generic greeting from you.

• If we detect abuse, we may restrict players from using the feature and apply punishments depending on the severity.

As we have mentioned, the feature will launch on December 11 and will last for 7 days until December 18. Each player will receive their Christmas cards and gifts on Christmas Day, December 25.
